Volunteer - About - Eskenazi Health

Eskenazi Health Volunteer Services is dedicated to enhancing the patient experience, augmenting the services of staff and promoting community involvement. Eskenazi Health currently has more than 300 compassionate volunteers coming from all over the Greater Indianapolis community.

Eskenazi Health volunteers are recognized as important members of our health care team and play a vital role in fulfilling the hospital’s mission to advocate, care, teach and serve all people in the community, with a special emphasis on vulnerable populations.

Volunteer opportunities exist throughout the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and the Eskenazi Health system for those over the age of 18. These opportunities are designed with the patient in mind, providing each patient and visitor with a positive experience. For volunteers ages 14 to 19, please visit the summer VolunTEEN program page to learn more.
