Free health screenings and day-long events planned around Sept. 25 health fair
Indianapolis, Sept. 13, 2019 – The Jewish Community Center Indianapolis (JCC), in partnership with Eskenazi Health, will host several events aimed at educating men and women on important health issues at the Healthy Living Day at the J on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The event will take place at the Arthur M. Glick JCC at 6701 Hoover Rd.
The event will include numerous free and vital health screenings for the benefit of all men and women in Central Indiana. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Free health screenings will include glucose/cholesterol, high blood pressure/hypertension, BMI and many more.

Eskenazi Health providers and staff, along with staff from the JCC, will be available to answer questions and provide health screenings and demonstrations during the fair.
The day will also feature pop-up shops including Health Markets, L'Occitane en Provence, Graceful Aging Home Care, Fabletics, First Person, Under Armour and more. A silent auction will also take place with more than $5,000 in items, including beauty products, healthy activities, great eats, athletic wear, jewelry and more.
“Healthy Living Day will provide the perfect opportunity for everyone to consult with knowledgeable and experienced health professionals who will be happy to answer your questions,” said Dr. Dawn Haut, CEO of Eskenazi Health Center, a network of primary care sites located throughout the neighborhoods of Indianapolis. “All of us from Eskenazi Health who will be there are greatly appreciative of the opportunity to again join with our friends with the Jewish Community Center in hosting what promises to be an informative, fun and interesting Healthy Living Day.”
