Eskenazi Health is offering expanded hours to assist as many people as possible during the upcoming federal Marketplace open enrollment period, which runs from Nov. 1 through Jan. 15. To help patients find medical insurance coverage, there will be expanded financial counseling hours on Eskenazi Health’s downtown campus in November and December as well as offering services at two Eskenazi Health Center locations.
Eskenazi Health Financial Eligibility Services will be available during regular business hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, on the downtown campus, at Eskenazi Health Center West 38th Street and at Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus. Patients who apply by Dec. 15 will have their coverage start in January. Additionally, the Financial Counseling suite on the downtown campus will be open from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for the following Saturdays: Nov. 2, Nov. 9, Nov. 16, Nov. 30, Dec. 7 and Dec. 14.

To ensure prompt service, appointments are recommended. Walk-ins will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. Appointments can be scheduled with financial counselors by calling 1.855.202.1053 or online through Eskenazi Health MyChart.
For the first time since its creation, deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) recipients will be eligible to enter the federal Marketplace and enroll in comprehensive medical insurance. Financial counseling staff members are ready to connect patients with this coverage.
