Recipe of the Month: Watermelon-Basil Refresher Smoothie

Makes 2-3 servings
Serving size: 8 ounces

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups cubed watermelon, chilled
  • ½ cup canned coconut water, chilled
  • 4 large fresh basil leaves

Preparation:

    1. Place all ingredients in a large blender, and blend until smooth. 
    2. Serve immediately.

Additional tips: To keep your smoothie extra cold, use chilled glasses or frozen watermelon cubes, or add a few ice cubes into the blender.
