Support Available for Substance Use Disorder

For those in need of support for a substance use disorder, Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center has immediate openings for appointments.

Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Adult Addiction Services and Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program are here to support anyone experiencing substance use disorder and addiction.

The Adult Addiction Services team is located at Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center – Thomas P. Stitt Building, 3171 N. Meridian St., and provides treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health needs with a full complement of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic services, including individual and group therapy, case management, skills development, peer recovery services, crisis services, and medication management. Walk-in intakes are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., or by calling 317.880.8491 to make an appointment.

The Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program is located at 3419 English Ave. and provides services for opioid use disorder with counseling and methadone treatment. Walk-in intakes are available Monday through Friday from 8 – 11 a.m.

Located in a new building that transformed a former retail space into a place of hope and recovery, the Caring Recovery Opioid Treatment Program has a much larger space than its previous location that offers improved access and increased availability of services for the community. Services include medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), individual and group therapy, case management, and psychiatric treatment for additional mental health diagnoses.
