Patient and visitors are encouraged to nominate an Eskenazi Health staff member who made a difference in their experience. Eligible staff members for the Sunshine Award include:

• Medical assistants

• Patient care technicians

• Health care technicians

• Student nurses

Other criteria for nominees include:

• Displays a positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace

• Exemplifies Eskenazi Health’s mission, vision and values

• Honors and supports all members of team to deliver the best experience for patients, families and visitors

• Establishes a special connection with patients, families and visitors through trust and emotional support

• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork with peers and co-workers
