Nurses encouraged to attend Aug. 8 event to learn more about Eskenazi Health

Indianapolis, July 30, 2019 – Eskenazi Health will host a Nurse Networking Informational Event on Thursday, Aug. 8, from 5-7 p.m. Nurses with experience in primary and specialty care, case management, critical care, behavioral health, operating room, cath lab and burn will learn of current opportunities. Bilingual nurses are needed as well.

The event is open to all registered nurses (RN) and new RN graduates. Attendees may enjoy refreshments and enter a drawing for prizes. Opening remarks will be delivered at 5:15 p.m. by Lee Ann Blue, MSN, RN, executive vice president for patient care services and chief nursing officer at Eskenazi Health, followed by the opportunity to engage with nursing leaders from our organization.

Eskenazi Health is always looking for nurses to join our team. Nurses are encouraged to come and learn about Eskenazi Health and tour the downtown campus. The event will be held at our Café Soleil restaurant at Eskenazi Health, 720 Eskenazi Ave. Free parking will be available in the Eskenazi Health Parking Garage.

“Our Nurse Networking Informational Event on Aug. 8 will provide the perfect opportunity for nurses to learn more about Eskenazi Health,” said Blue. “While interacting with our patients, nurses at Eskenazi Health have the advantage of working with the latest equipment in our state-of-the-art facilities.”

Everyone will have the opportunity to meet staff nurses from various Eskenazi Health departments and all attendees will be encouraged to mingle and network with others on hand for the event.

Eskenazi Health has nurses who staff various departments within the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, 10 community health centers and the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center locations.

Comprehensive benefits for RNs at Eskenazi Health include tuition reimbursement, retirement plans through OneAmerica, various on-campus dining options, shared governance councils, a free fitness gym, free employee wellness programs, Sky Farm access and more.
