The Marianne Tobias Music Program will feature jazz pianist Christopher Pitts and jazz vocalist Emma Hedrick on Wednesday, August 28, at 12 p.m. in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse.

Christopher Pitts is known for his energetic performances and willingness to take chances. An Atlanta native, Christopher has planted deep musical roots in Indianapolis as co-founder of First Fridays at McGowan Hall, keyboardist/composer for Clint Breeze and The Groove, and frequent guest artist in Sean Imboden Large Ensemble.

Emma Hedrick is an award-winning jazz vocalist, composer, and arranger. In 2019, Emma placed third in the International Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition held in Washington, D.C. Emma has performed at the Telluride Jazz Festival in Colorado and at Indy Jazzfest in Indiana. She has also performed at The Jazz Kitchen (Indianapolis), The Museum of Modern Art (Miami), The New World Symphony (Miami) and The Baryshnikov Center (New York City).
