The Marianne Tobias Music Program will feature jazz pianist Monika Herzig on Wednesday, December 20, at 12 p.m. in the Eli Lilly and Company Foundation Concourse.
Monika Herzig is a German-born jazz pianist who first came to the United States as an exchange student at the University of Alabama in 1987. Monika attended Indiana University where she minored in jazz studies and received her Doctorate in Music Education. As leader of the Monika Herzig Acoustic Project, she has recorded four albums with the jazz fusion group BeebleBrox. Currently, Monika is an Arts Administration faculty member at Indiana University.
This concert will be broadcast live and viewable from all televisions on the Eskenazi Health downtown campus, including patient rooms, on channel 17.
