Nov. 25, 2019 – Thanksgiving is the favorite holiday of many Americans, and as you’re enjoying time with family and friends on that special day, the Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center at Eskenazi Health wants you to be aware of numerous safety issues we should all take precautions against. According to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Thanksgiving is the peak day each year for home cooking fires, followed by Christmas Day, Christmas Eve and the day before Thanksgiving. According to the NFPA, there are more than three times as many cooking-related fires on Thanksgiving than the daily average.

Indianapolis, Nov. 19, 2019 – The Joint Commission has awarded Eskenazi Health the Core Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement. Awarded for excellence in patient care, the certification is given to programs that meet certain performance standards set by The Joint Commission.

The regional partnerships, which span the entire state of Indiana, include Regional Health Systems in Merrillville, IN, Eskenazi Health and Community Mental Health Center in Lawrenceburg, IN.

Sept. 13, 2019 – The Jewish Community Center Indianapolis (JCC), in partnership with Eskenazi Health, will host several events aimed at educating men and women on important health issues at the Healthy Living Day at the J on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The event will take place at the Arthur M. Glick JCC at 6701 Hoover Rd.
