The Eskenazi Health Foundation Campaigns
The Campaign for Eskenazi Health
The Campaign for Eskenazi Health raised more than $87 million for the new hospital campus with support from more than 3,500 contributors, including Sidney and Lois Eskenazi of Indianapolis, who provided a record $40 million gift in 2011. Overall, the campaign was one of the largest ever for a public hospital in the United States, and it inspired one of the largest employee-giving campaigns in health care history with Eskenazi Health physicians and employees contributing nearly $5 million.
Beyond Barriers Campaign
The Beyond Barriers Campaign, raising more than $79.6 million from 2021-2024, has driven significant advancements in health equity and social determinants of health initiatives within Eskenazi Health. The campaign supported the construction of the Eskenazi Health Thomas & Arlene Grande Campus as well as the establishment of three Health Equity Zones in partnership with community leaders, the Regenstrief Center for Health Equity Research at Eskenazi Health and Food as Medicine programs including the Fresh for You Market and Fresh for You Market on Wheels to address food insecurity.
