The Richard M. Fairbanks Burn Center at Eskenazi Health has prepared a quick reference guide for medical personnel treating burns prior to transporting to the burn center.

INDIANAPOLIS, July 24, 2017 - Eskenazi Health and Eskenazi Health Foundation announce a $1.5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to expand the Initiative for Empowerment and Economic Independence (IEEI). The Eskenazi Health program provides meaningful internships for students from Indiana colleges and universities to help the students achieve meaningful employment.

Indianapolis, July 19, 2017 – Highly-acclaimed physician and healthcare educator Dr. Curtis Wright has been named the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Eskenazi Medical Group. Eskenazi Medical Group includes physicians of the Eskenazi Health system who are faculty of the Indiana University School of Medicine specializing in primary care, including care for seniors, children and families, as well as hospitalists. The group has more than 180 physicians, advanced practice providers and staff providing care at the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and in 10 community health care centers throughout Indianapolis.

Indianapolis, July 12, 2017 – On Saturday, July 15, the Eskenazi Health Cycling Team will participate in a one-day bicycle ride across Indiana during the eighth annual Ride to Remember. The team will complete the 160-mile trek in fond memory of the 353 Eskenazi Health Palliative Care Program patients who died last year.

INDIANAPOLIS, June 22, 2017 - Dr. W. Graham Carlos has been named chief of internal medicine at Eskenazi Health and the Joseph J. Mamlin Scholar in Medicine. Dr. Carlos will have oversight responsibility for internal medicine specialty services at Eskenazi Health, including the outpatient clinics, medical ICU service, and inpatient consultative services and procedural laboratories.
